Red Cross Drive Sets $13 000 Goal for Adams County March
An army of Red Cross volunteers will canvass Adams County starting March 1 aiming for $19 000 total. County Fund Chairman John C. Stahie and Vice Chairman Charles W. Wolfe lead 15 district chairmen with rallies and preparatory work by Paul Teger and John D. Teeter. Districts cover Fairfield Orrtanna Cashtown Biglerville and more with regional rallies scheduled February 20 at Delone High School and February 25 at Schottie's in Littlestown.

500 To Participate In Folk Festival
Approximately 500 farm youths from seven counties are set to take part in a Rural Polk Festival sponsored by the Adams County Senior Extension club on April 2 at the South Mountain fairgrounds. District workers conducted rallies at New Oxford high school for New Oxford and surrounding sections, York Springs high school for York Springs district solicitors, with all rallies at 1 30 p m and refreshments to close.
