Body Found In Swatara Creek Near Middletown
Charles Harper, 60, formerly of near Knoxlyn Mill, was found dead last Saturday in Swatara Creek near Middletown. He had been missing since Thursday and is believed to have died by his own hand. Family says farm debts near Knoxlyn may have driven him to suicide. a letter addressed to Charles Harper of Gettysburg provides the authorities with the only clue. A widow and three children survive.
