Adams County Court Sentences Wallen for Escape and Local Offense
Robert R. Wallen, 25, New Oxford R D, father of five, received four to eight months in Adams County jail on escape charges after fleeing Sheriff Dawson R. Miller during a failed arrest for contempt of court over a delinquency case. Also sentenced were Paul March, 61, East Berlin, to 60 days to one year for assault with intent to do bodily harm after an incident involving broken windows and a brick. East Berlin teacher George Moul corroborated the event, noting the brick could have hit Joe Smith if he hadn’t ducked.
