Three Coal Trucks In Three Accidents Near Dillsburg
On Thursday at 9 p.m. three coal trucks were involved in separate sideswipe accidents on the Gettysburg Harrisburg road near the northern edge of Dillsburg. One truck driven south by Irvin I. Seymour of Baltimore was struck by a car driven by Charles W. Heller of Harrisburg. Patrolman Harleman reported sleet and ice covered windshields, drivers s near the roadway center, and damage under ten dollars to the two vehicles involved in the incidents.

At noon on a slippery Abbottstown Hanover road a coal truck driven by John S. Frock age 20 of Hanover R2 skidded cannot be sure due to damaged OCR. His brakes failed near a wagon and another truck. the rear struck a radiator of a truck driven toward Hanover by Marlin Hess age 21 of Shamokin. Patrolman O F Renz of Gettysburg investigated.

Coal truck and car collide near Midway before noon
A coal truck driven by John Short, 21, Shamokin, and a coupe driven by Maurice L. Baughman, 37, Hanover R. 1, side swiped on a curve in Midway shortly before noon Thursday. Both drivers said the impact was fleeting and visibility was poor. Damages totaled under $15. Patrolman Harleman investigated.
