Washington reports a 104,443 drop in January gross postal receipts among the 30 largest offices. Total receipts fell to 2,839,911 from 2,944,354, a 3 percent decline. Nine offices rose slightly. The American Biscuit Company operates roughly 19 bakeries across the county with a substantial authorized capital.
