Alton Blair Clark a 39 year old New Oxford mail carrier was found guilty of first degree murder and sentenced to life imprisonment for the killings of his estranged wife Delores 36 and her mother Mae Beatrice Kuhn 58 outside Mrs Kuhn s convalescent home. Kenneth J. Cole, 51 East Stevens Street Gettysburg, president of the Young Democratic Club of Adams County, announced his candidacy for the Democratic nomination for treasurer of Adams County. A 29 year old Navy veteran with overseas service in the Mediterranean and Caribbean, he has long been active in local Democratic circles. Cole is a Gettysburg native, son of Richard M. Cole, educated at Xavier Grade School and Delone Catholic High School, attended Gettysburg College after service, and recently coordinated Adams and Cumberland Counties for the 1964 agriculture census. He belongs to the American Legion Honor Guard the Elks VEW and Muuse.
