Two Drivers Convicted in Adams County Court
Two men were found guilty by Adams County juries Tuesday afternoon. Foreman Jay D. Johnson announced a guilty verdict in the driving during suspension case against Harry J. Fire destroys shed and hogs at York Springs residence

Auto pileup damage tops $13 thousand near York Springs
State police investigated weekend and Monday morning crashes totaling 13 825 dollars. The largest loss 13 000 occurred two miles north of York Springs on Harrisburg Road when two tractor trailers collided at 8 45 p m Sunday, tying up traffic for two hours. Swicegood a 41 year old Lexington R D 5 North Carolina driver of a Grubb Motor Lines tractor-trailer loaded with furniture jackknifed. A second northbound tractor trailer driven by Willie L Young 45 of Apex North Carolina collided, pushing the Swicegood vehicle off the road. The second trailer loaded with grapefruit belonged to Williamson Distributors Sanford Florida. Damage 5 000 to Swicegood vehicle 8 000 to Young s vehicle.
