Hartlaub Acquitted in Obstructing Officer Case
An Adams County jury found Francis Hartlaub innocent of obstructing Officer Harold Smith while entering Hartlaub’s garage to arrest Hartlaub’s brother Bernard. He admitted asking for a warrant but denied interference. Jury deliberated 9:55 to 11:00 with a verdict of innocence and costs shifted to Hartlaub.
