Eight Stolen Guns Recovered by State Police
State police from the local substation recovered eight antique firearms stolen Saturday from Lester Chronister at his York Springs R. 2 home. Two juvenile suspects, aged 16 and 17, broke a front door to enter and steal a pistol and seven rifles. The youths will be brought before juvenile court.

Two Cars Collide on Route 010233, $300 Damage
In Hamilton Township near New Oxford a Tuesday evening collision totaled $300 in damage. Robert Hahn, 71, of Hanover, driving west in the center due to drifting, struck a car partly on the road driven by Glenn Witt, 37, of New Oxford. Witt’s car was hidden by blowing snow. Each car suffered about $150 damage.
