Boroughs Association Reconstitutes Law Codes for 1927 Legislature
The Pennsylvania State Association of Boroughs approved recodification of borough laws at its 17th annual convention in Harrisburg. The code adds clarifying amendments, no new material, with a study on taxing for school and borough levies. The group backed abolishing the constable if a police force exists and favored Hoover code traffic rules. The next meeting is planned for Hanover in 1928.

Mrs Paul Gladfelter left Abbottstown last week to visit Prof Amos Krebs and family in York. While there one family member contracted scarlet fever and the house was quarantined, delaying her return. Miss Vivian Stambaugh of Pine Run spent the weekend at Johnstown. Gettysburg sopomore play cast includes Misses Jeanette Horner and Louise Ramer. Aaron G Weaver of Biglerville disclaims debts of wife Emily Barnett Weaver who left his home.
