Collision injures man near Hanover on morning drive
A minor collision near Hanover involved an automobile driven by F F Elder of Abbottstown and a bakery truck owned by O I M Houck and Son of Hanover driven by William E Van Fossen. The incident at 6:45 a m left Van Fossen with minor injuries and caused minor damage. Elder attempted to stop and skidded into the bakery truck.

State police seized a five cent slot machine belonging to Paul Crist of York Springs. The device was ordered destroyed and its contents turned over to county commissioners.
