The mail subscription rate for subscribers outside Adams York and Cumberland Counties increases to 3 per year effective January 1 1957. Rates within Adams York Cumberland Counties stay unchanged and single copy price remains five cents. The new rate offsets rising production and delivery costs and marks the first increase in many years.

Mrs Reba Shull Stuhrman widow of William Stuhrman died Monday afternoon at 1 10 at Hanover Hospital after a six month illness. She had been a patient for one and a half weeks. (Continued on Page 3)
