The Geiser Mfg Co plans sending five large plow rigs to south central Mexico. Each rig uses a 30 horsepower traction engine with eight shares per plow. The engines are the largest built for this purchase by Geiser. Mexican agents secured the order after other makes failed to meet requirements. A local note adds that Lewis Oberholtzer of Emmitsburg died recently and left a $3,000 gold and silver treasure found by his daughter in a tin box hidden since the Civil War.
