Auto Destroyed by Flames Sparks Arrest in York County
A Chevrolet touring car owned by GW Bollinger caught fire two miles east of Abbottstown on a Saturday night. The blaze destroyed the body and damaged wiring after a short circuit ignited gasoline fumes. Edward MacDonald and his five children were with Bollinger. they assisted others to York Springs before authorities detained MacDonald for drunkenness and disorderly conduct in York. Damage estimated at about $300.
