Lillian Amelia Daugherty and Bernard Stoops were married Thursday at 2 PM in the King Street United Brethren Church parsonage Chambersburg by Rev. Clyde Meadows. The couple, both from Pennsylvania towns Gettysburg and Chambersburg, united in marriage witnessed by family members.
Riley Fleming Miss Gladys Romaine Fleming daughter of Mrs Gola Fleming Hanover and John Henry Riley son of Mr and Mrs Ivan Riley Lit tlestown were married Thursday evening in St Matthew s Lutheran church Hanover The ring ceremony was performed by the pastor Dr H H Beidleman The newlyweds will reside with the bride s mother in Hanover The bridegroom is a teacher in a rural school in Lancaster county and the bride is a registered nurse employed not present in the Hanover General hospital.
Miss Eilene Howe daughter of Mr and Mrs Calvin Howe and Creden Brandt son of Mr and Mrs George Brandt were married in Frederick on Thursday. The Rev Travis pastor of a Lutheran church performed the ceremony.
