New Oxford Forensic Contest Participants Named

New Oxford high school will attend the District Forensic contest at William Penn high school in Harrisburg on Saturday. Florence Clark will perform xylophone at 10 30 with John Harris high school competitors. New Oxford chorus directed by Mary Lou Spangier sings at 11 00. bands directed by Paul Harner perform 1 30. Participants include Florence Clark and Florence Clark appears in lists with many peers. accompaniment from Betty Gable and others. The Rolling Springs band competes in the same event. Leave from school at 9 00. many patrons expected to travel to Harrisburg.

Record Deeds Set New Adams County Transfer Pace this Week

Adams County transfers broke records as 31 deeds were filed with the register and recorder. Transfers include Almoney to Klocker seven acres in Cumberland township and multiple parcels in Conewago Union and Gettysburg towns with buyers such as Teal Miler Swisher Morgan and Lambert among others.
