The Brooklyn Eagle Excursionists visited Santa Fe this week returning from the Pacific coast. They spent their first day touring by auto to Pajarito Park and Frijoles Canyon, though not all reached the destination. Tuesday they explored local attractions, saw an Indian dance and enjoyed a Spanish supper during their stay.

School superintendents hold important meeting
County and city superintendents and educators invited by State Superintendent J H Wagner met here this week to discuss a budget system and adequate teacher pay. Conditions Good in Southwest Says Santa Fe Official
F B Houghton freight traffic manager for the Santa Fe system toured Oklahoma California Arizona and New Mexico including Pecos Valley lines. He reports good conditions across the southwest with rising crops livestock fruits vegetables and cotton and strong demand for lumber brick and cement. He notes an Arizona station shipped 75 car loads of lettuce to New York last year and recalls his own early start as an operator at Rowe New Mexico thirty years ago.
