Devastating Curry County Storm Hits Farms and Fires
A Friday night hail storm wrecked five thousand acres of wheat in Curry County, injuring 18 year old Raymond Buchanan who received care in Clo vis. A fire at 2 AM Sunday destroyed ten thousand dollars of building material for the ward school, plus office equipment, contractor tools, a motor truck, and a shop, believed caused by defective wiring. The property belonged to J W Mordecai.
