At the latest board of education meeting Guadalupe voted to call an election in the first week of raw toxte bonds totaling 32500 dollars to fund a new schoolhouse. A two room schoolhouse is also planned for west Fort Summer paid from a special tax commission.

Mountainair New Mexico Dec 18 The long awaited bank of Mountainair will open by early next year after the final $25,000 capital stock was subscribed and the charter filed with the state banking department. H F Mathews leads the initiative and will be the original stockholder with J N Burton named cashier. Local stockholders are prominent residents who have planned to boost Mountainair and the surrounding district.
