Southwest Navajo Nation Fair kicks off in Dilkon Arizona
The 13th Southwest Navajo Nation Fair opens in Dilkon with Grandparents Week themes. A free barbecue at 4 pm, arts and crafts stalls, fry bread, and rodeo events including JRA Junior Rodeo and ASPRCA Open Show Rodeo. A powwow, song and dance, pageant, coronation, and a parade are scheduled. Admission is $5 with free entry for under 5 and on Kids Day. Directions include I-40 to Route 87, then Route 15 to Dilkon and the fairgrounds.

New Mexico EMS Fund Awards Distribute Over 2.2 Million Dollars
New Mexico Health Secretary J. Alex Valdez announced 2,245,224 to municipalities and counties for 316 EMS providers. Cibola, McKinley, Ramah Pine Hill, and nine communities receive funds for ambulances, defibrillators, and communications equipment.
