Crashes Slow I-40 Traffic Near Gallup Arizona
A pair of crashes on Interstate 40 near mile 344.5 east of Gallup caused major disruption. The first crash at about 2:55 a.m. involved a single car that rolled onto the right shoulder, possibly linked to a crime, with Navajo Police now handling the investigation. The roadway was cleared by 8 a.m. after debris removal, then a chain-reaction crash involving three tractor-trailers followed, with the first truck bursting into flames. Driver and co-driver Abdi M.
