Navajo Nation to share $3 million grant for youth centers

The U S Housing and Urban Development Department awards a two year 3 million grant to the Navajo Nation to establish Boys and Girls clubs at five agency centers and five additional communities. Begaye said funds cover operations supplies renovation and staff with plans to reapply for a four year total. A November meeting will pick five communities and hire a coordinator to implement the Navajo Boys and Girls Clubs program and oversee ten centers.
