Mary Wicoff reports from Black Mesa Arizona that reclaimed lands show significant greenery after Peabody Western Coal Co. efforts. 18 scientists oversee a $140 million program to restore land to pre mining conditions or better, focusing on Navajo culturally important plants. Zunis scrap ban on non Indian attendance at ceremonies
About 300 Zunis voted unanimously to withdraw the Tribal Council directive banning non-Indians from Zuni religious ceremonies. Rural Utah hospital to close November 21
