Duran outlines focus on communication at UNM Gallup

Gilbert Duran, finalist for UNM Gallup director, told about 25 staff and faculty he would stress open forums bulletins and personal outreach to improve communication. He would involve faculty in budgeting and salary decisions, value both vocational and academic routes, and pursue community input through follow up studies and collaborations with local leaders. He noted limited familiarity with Gallup but emphasized learning community needs and guiding campus growth.

Officials study revised New Mexico Children's Code

MACOG seeks aid to cut Gallup water use

Lupton man bound over for vehicular homicide

Leo Kee Thompson, 41, of Lupton, bound over for district court on vehicular homicide in the Oct 3 three car crash that killed Jeff Davis, 78, of Gallup, after driving on the wrong side of the road.
