Four Gallup youths arrested for paint sniffing in abandoned garage
Four Gallup area youths were arrested Friday night after police traced them to an abandoned garage in the 200 block Hast Terrace where they were sniffing spray paint. Roger Lee 13 Paulie Shorty 17 were booked for curfew violation while Robert Lee 17 faced curfew and disorderly conduct charges Odell Carr 19 was held for contributing to the delinquency of minors. Patrolman Landavazo said Roger Lee led him to the garage after stopping him at Puerco and U S 66 reporting a bleeding girl, though none were visibly injured. In other news Willie Kline reported a theft of tools valued at 55.75 from his pickup in the First State Bank lot. Currency totaling 210 stolen from a K&S Lanes cash drawer was found in a ceiling hole at the bowling alley. Alfred Garcia reported window glass broken from his door on Mesa Avenue with no damage estimate given.

Stone Services Held Today for Mrs Mary Stone
