A three-vehicle wreck near Red Lake Trading Post on US 160 west of Tonalea left Erna Penner of Vancouver dead at the scene. Shelly Kozlowski, also of Vancouver, and Evangelista Hurley of Tuba City were among the injured. The crash, near mile post 341.1, involved a vehicle rollover and multiple injuries, with authorities suspecting alcohol use. The incident is under investigation by Arizona Highway Patrol and Navajo Police.
