Yah-ta-hey woman Rosita Kee Jackson, 28, died after being struck while walking along 66 Avenue near Patton Street in Gallup. A witness told police the vehicle could not be identified. The crash occurred at about 12:50 a.m. according to Gallup Police.

The Hopi Tribal Council passed an 8 to 0 resolution seeking the removal of Navajo and Hopi Relocation Commissioner Sandra Massetto over opposition to Public Law 93-531.
