Atcitty Injured After Horse Incident At Northern Navajo Fair
Navajo Nation Vice President Thomas Atcitty fell from a horse during the Shiprock parade at the Northern Navajo Fair on Saturday. He was admitted briefly to Northern Navajo Medical Center, treated, and released with a sore hip and tailbone but no broken bones. Navajo Nation President Albert Hale witnessed the tumble and said Atcitty was okay and tough.
