It's Official Curley a write-in Navajo president candidate
Navajo Board of Election supervisors certified Larry Curley as a write-in candidate for Navajo Nation President, ending a months long drive to reach the ballot. Curley surpassed the petition threshold by about 200 signatures and expressed satisfaction with the ruling. His bid began last spring after an insufficient petition count and a Navajo Supreme Court challenge remains unresolved. If he wins, Curley plans to seek a court order to place his name and photo on the general election ballot.
