Mary Wicoff Wes'ern Bureau reports Tuba City Ariz residents were honored for helping make Tuba City the home of chess champions. About 20 certificates were distributed by Eli Blackfeather of Oakland Calif a retired movie stuntman who promotes recognitions nationwide. The awards recognized youth and adults who meet weekly at McDonald’s where a special award was given to the restaurant for providing a practice space.
