Crownpoint to get new Indian Health Service hospital design
A joint Albuquerque architectural team Brown & Seales with Flatow Moore Bryan & Associates has been chosen to design a new 37 bed Crownpoint IHS hospital at the N.M. 57 and Navajo 9 junction. The project, funded at about 1.3 million dollars for design, follows a long interagency dispute over 51 versus 100 percent Indian ownership. The two firms will meet the Crownpoint Hospital Planning Board on October 13 for an information sharing session in Town Hall at 10 a.m.
