Bank of America donates 16000 to Reach Out and Read at Gallup Indian Medical Center to boost reading among Navajo children from six months to six years. Volunteers read aloud to patients, pairing books with home “prescriptions” for parents to read, part of a nationwide effort begun by pediatricians in Boston.
