BIA officers shoot man in back
The case concerns Terry Lee Heller a 36 year old Sun Lakes man who was shot twice in the back by a Bureau of Indian Affairs policeman after an alleged fight. Authorities including the U.S. Attorney's office and Salt River reservation officials declined to comment while an autopsy noted two 9mm bullet wounds to the back and traces of methamphetamine.

Burglars Hit Six Grants Firms In City In Two-Block Span
Grant city police reported six commercial burglaries and one attempted break in during Wednesday night into Thursday morning. Lillian Vigil's office at 216 West High Street was entered between 5 30 p m Wednesday and 8 50 a m Thursday. $70 in cash and a $75 50 check were taken.
