Witnesses link accused to slayir in Gallup killings
Lith Judicial District Attorney's Office prosecutors presented two key witnesses in a preliminary hearing for Alex Redhorse charged with two counts of first degree murder and four counts of tampering with evidence. Witnesses testified Redhorse told them he killed Dusty Rye and Alec Arinijo and burned their bodies near the McGarley area. Bodies and Rye's burned car were found April 18 along Cibola National Forest Road 191. Witnesses fear for their lives. names not disclosed.

Two Native men plead guilty in Navajo Nation death case
In U.S. District Court two men, Britin Thompson and Presley Shorty, admitted guilt in a Sept. 4 2010 killing during a gang related feud near Littlewater within the Navajo Nation. Thompson pleaded guilty to voluntary manslaughter and a related firearms count. Shorty pleaded guilty to voluntary manslaughter.
