Cibola County approves hospital bond despite higher rate
In a special April 27 session the Cibola County Commission approved a bond ordinance and purchase plan for 700000 to finish Cibola General Hospital. Rising rates to 6.5 percent added about 1700 in cost, while four of five commissioners backed the deal. The board also designated the county as fiscal agent for Cibola Foundation to purchase the Alco Building for 255000 total, with the county not liable.
