Crownpoint men set for trial in fatal Albuquerque shooting
US District Court schedules the trial date for Crownpoint men Avil, Shorty Wally Presley B, and Bevin B Thompson, charged with second degree murder in the Sept 41 shooting death of 43 year old Wally and wounding his 24 year old son Nathaniel in the Little Water public housing complex. Two other suspects Augustine and Byron Pahe were released. Calvini and Pahe charges dismissed.

Third suspect arrested in Chuska Apartments armed robbery
Deema Rashid 22 appeared before McKinley County Magistrate Judge Cynthia Sanders on charges of non aggravated burglary and concealing identity. Hearing continued. Rashid released on 50000 bond. Co defendants Joshua Cucelardi 27 and John Gonzales Jr 33 face similar charges with Cucelardi also charged with child abuse. Gonzales waived preliminary hearing. all three held at Gallup McKinley County Detention Center. Case stems from March 4 early morning robbery of Zhonibad Ciccarello at her Chuska apartment. Ciccarello told police her ex boyfriend Cucelardi forced entry with Rashid and others.
