Medal honors Navajo officer killed in line of duty

Coho pleads to murder of elderly woman
Chester Coho 21 of Ramah pleaded guilty Friday to second degree murder and third degree burglary in the slaying of a Candy Kitchen area woman. Prosecutors dropped four other charges. Sentencing is postponed and he could face up to 21 years in prison. Coho and two other Ramah men, Vanceson Jake 18 and Roland T. 23, were involved in the case. the third man was found incompetent for trial.

A Gallup mother, protecting her anonymity, says her 10-year-old son found an inch-long worm inside a bottle of apple juice bought at Wal-Mart on June 20. She returned the product for a refund, but feared the store would not remove it from shelves.
