Gallup Truck Stops Blockaded by ITA Protest
ITA members blocked diesel pumps at Gallup Union 76 and Truckstops of America Sunday afternoon as part of a statewide protest over high fuel prices. Five to six trucks arrived around 2 p.m. to shut the diesel pumps, while gasoline pumps stayed open. The shutdown lasted about two hours and ended after other Interstate 40 stops began selling fuel.
