Mrs. G Helen Pope has taken over as Republican county chairwoman after Ken Tucker resigned to become district governor of the Rotary Club. Pope has lived in Gallup twelve years and was elected county chairwoman a year ago, taking over automatically upon Tucker’s resignation to assume other duties.
