Insurance payout awarded to UNC Re Sources for Church Rock spill

GALLUP An administrator has been hired for a proposed merged hospital facility. Dr. Thomas Carmany said the new administrator is David Conejo, currently CEO at St. Ann's Hospital Watertown SD. Conejo will begin July 20 and replaces an interim leadership as staff are informed.

Boy Drowns in Septic Tank Near Smith Lake
A two year old boy named Dallas Martinez wandered from playmates Saturday near Smith Lake, Gallup area. His body was found in a septic tank by his aunt and was pronounced dead at a Crownpoint hospital. The district attorney’s office identified the victim and reported the death.
