McKinley County commissioners picked two state CAC funding applications for 1983 84 to defend on County Road 19 near Prewitt. The $714 000 paving of four miles north of Plains Electric plant and a $459 000 12 mile road study from I 40 to the Borrego Pass area were prepared by McKinsey Area Council of Governments.
