Wallow Fire Spreads Into New Mexico, Hits 386698 Acres
The Wallow Fire near Springerville Arizona has reached New Mexico becoming the second largest in state history. It spans about 386,698 acres with containment around five percent. Evacuations are underway for Eagar Springerville Sunrise Greer Blue River Alpine Nutrioso and nearby subdivisions along 180 191 and Mountain Estates. Blue Ridge High School serves as evacuation center while more than 3,000 firefighters operate with 18 bulldozers.

Men Health Conference Draws 150 in Gallup

Albuquerque murder suspect nabbed by GPD
Grant Police arrested Richard Ross 52 of Albuquerque after a late night traffic stop at Santa Fe Avenue and First Street. Officers say he showed signs of alcohol impairment, discarded containers in the backseat, and fled at high speed when asked to exit the vehicle.
