Drowning at Ford Canyon Pool Ends Gallup Party
A Gallup man, Carlos Parra, 26, drowned early today at the Ford Canyon Park pool after a drinking party. He was pronounced dead at McKinley General Hospital at 3:42 a.m. and his body sent to Albuquerque for post mortem exams. Five gallup men witnessed the incident. police report notes the pool was to open to the public later that day.
