Navajo youth to tour with Up With People for 11 months
Jack Jackson Jr. of Window Rock Ariz will travel 25000 miles with Up With People over 11 months starting July leaving Arizona State University. He will stay with host families in 90 communities meeting industry and government leaders while sharing his Navajo heritage. He was chosen from over 7000 applicants and will train in Tucson before joining one of five touring companies.
