Howard was cited for driving without a license and wrong lane after a crash involving Charles Frank and a car driven by Frank. A 13 year old girl Christana Estrella was held on runaway. Vandals broke two windows at a church at First and Wilson. Ernest Aston reported a missing bowling bag from his car a week ago.

Ferrari Taken Into Custody After Murder Conviction
Carmen Ferrari 65 of 207 South McKinley was jailed after a first degree murder conviction for the June 15 Gal lup shooting death of Joseph Swain. Judge Paul Larrazolo had set a $30,000 bond prior to an appeal. the bond was revoked and Ferrari remains in McKinley County jail pending the appeal to the New Mexico Supreme Court.

Three Car Wreck Near Gallup Hurts No One
Six people escaped injury in a three car crash eight miles west of Gallup on Interstate 40 when a sheep crossed the road forcing the first car to slow. Lester Baker of Torrance California drove the eastbound car struck from behind by Robert Staadt of Garnett Kansas. Samuel Durland of Pico Rivera California hit Staadt’s car from the rear. Two passengers in the Durland vehicle were uninjured.

High School Government Class Loans Help Cut Federal Debt
