Prison contract fallout as Gallup jail left in disrepair
Cor rectional Services Corp. officials left a burned mattress broken lights stained walls and fire damage at the McKinley County Adults Detention Center when Management and Training Corp. took over. County officials including Commissioner Harry Mendoza toured the facility and said it was filthy with ash in bunks evidence of fires by inmates and several items requiring cleanup and repair under the contract.
