The McKinley County Commission may offer a property tax rebate to low income families but would administer it locally rather than by the state. Fugitive Diaz Granted Short Furlough. Never Returned
Gallup Diaz, a convicted drug dealer, was given a four hour furlough by 11th Judicial District Judge Grant Foutz on Oct 18 to deal with a vehicle issue. He was set to return Nov 8 for sentencing on drug trafficking. He failed to appear, prompting a bench warrant. He was later apprehended on Dec 28 by Sco Fugitive agent Wayne Robertson.
