Amber Schillinger, a Fort Defiance born entrepreneur from the Honaghaahan Clan, aims to build a solar park at lyanbite to create jobs for the Navajo Nation amid about 52 percent unemployment. Yatahey man charged after Christmas Eve battery
McKinley County deputies responded to a Mentmore residence about 10:38 p.m. Christmas Eve for an injured woman. Lordonna Wilgus, 32, was found with a head laceration after witnesses say Donavan Gilmore, 26, pushed her husband Rickie Wilgus’s group during the party. Gilmore was later arrested for aggravated battery.
