Cause of death changed in Gallup shooting
In Gallup, Paul Fitzferrell 25 died after drinking with off-duty Officer Michael Brandal. Initially labeled death by own action, the Medical Investigator’s office in Albuquerque is reviewing the case and has reset the cause to pending after not returning calls for comment. Suzanne Fetsco would not comment.

Fire damages Gamerco trailer kitchen
Gallup firefighters were called at 11:30 a.m. Friday to 408 Summit Drive where a trailer kitchen was engulfed in flames. The kitchen sustained over four thousand dollars in damage but the home remained habitable with smoke damage. Tenants Luis, Lucero, and Ferma Lena Spencer were asleep during the incident. Fire Lt Jeff Ramsey said the crew initial efforts failed, then entered again to fight the fire. JoAnn Chavarria owns the trailer and lacks fire insurance. Fire officials deem the cause accidental and noted a padlocked exterior exit posed a fire hazard.

A morning blast at the Aneth Gas Plant near Montezuma Creek Utah caused heavy damage with no injuries among two operators on shift. Plant manager Gene Gruette cited a pump failure and propane plus butane leakage as the cause. Firefighters and Navajo Nation EPA staff investigated as the plant remained closed. The Texaco Mobil wells feed gas to El Paso Natural Gas Co. and Elkhorn for Texaco. The cooling tower suffered the most damage while compressors stayed operational. Officials planned a thorough probe to determine causes and safety compliance.

Fric Radosevich 20, already facing a vehicular homicide case, was arrested for aggravated DWI after a Monday 1:40 a.m. traffic stop near Lobo Canyon Road. Police say his 1984 Audi damaged, smoking car hit orange barrels and he failed field sobriety tests. He refused a blood test and remained jailed on $1,000 bond.
