Kayenta students join Learnin Tomorrow program
Kayenta Primary School in Kayenta Ariz is one of ten nationwide selected for the Learnin Tomorrow program by the National Foundation for the Improvement of Education. Teachers will receive training equipment and a $10,000 grant to boost at risk students. Principal Diana Leggett said the two year grant will broaden training opportunities after the school applied last spring. Kayenta and nine other schools were chosen from 150 applications. award announced Friday.

Four Missing Men Found Safe Near McGaffey Lake
Four hunters reported missing since Saturday near McGaffey Lake were found unharmed Monday afternoon. Their four-wheel-drive vehicle broke down about 17 miles southeast of the lake. Two snowmobilers in the search located the men hiking along a Forest Service road at about 1 p.m. Monday.
